Heating Mantles are used to uniformly heat various round bottom vessels. Magnetic stirring is also easily performed through the heating mantle. They are ideal for continuous distillations.

Bektron Heating Mantles are fiberglass insulated round bottom flask heaters for laboratory applications. The exterior of our heating mantle is a plastic-coated metal casing, with a pre-molded fiberglass liner to hold the round-bottom flasks. The heating element consists of a chrome-nickel alloy resistance wire, which is electrically insulated using a crocheted high-temperature yarn. The adapted shape ensures an even heat transition to the glass flask, and a layer of fiberglass insulation under the heating element reduces heat dissipation to increase efficiency.
